About the event
Many of us learned to disconnect from our bodies in order to stay safe. We learned to read the room before we could read ourselves — to shrink, to manage, to perform. But beneath all that conditioning, your body has never forgotten how to move freely, how to play, how to feel alive.
The Somatic Play Lab is an invitation to come home to that aliveness. Through movement, art, and curiosity, we explore how to gently re-awaken the body’s natural intelligence — the part of you that already knows what safety, belonging, and joy feel like.
This is not about “getting it right.” It’s about listening differently — to the subtle yeses and nos, the sensations that signal truth, the nervous system cues that whisper “you’re safe now.” Together, we’ll create a space where your authentic expression is not only allowed, but celebrated.
